Da Nang: A Hidden Paradise in Vietnam

Da Nang is the fourth largest city in Vietnam and is located on the South China Sea Coast. This is also where the Han River meets the ocean. It is a paradise for traveling with its friendly people and beautiful nature.
After tasting the noodle soup and the food sold at the stalls on the streets, you can continue your trip where you left off.Cham Museum and Dragon Bridge are important points of the city. According to ancient beliefs, the dragon represents power, luck and nobility. The museum is located right across the bridge. Here you can examine historical artifacts from the Champa community of Indian origin and take a short journey into their lives. The museum hosts over 400 historical artifacts. It is said that the majority of the artifacts were brought from the area where the My Son Temples are located.

If you are one of those who love natural beauties, let’s start with the Marble Mountains. When you climb the stone steps carved into the mountain, you will be greeted by Buddhist pagodas, limestone caves and the beautiful view of My Khe Beach. When you enter the mountain, you will see giant Buddha statues. Inside you will also see other statues with dragon head figures. After visiting the caves and courtyards enough, you can find natural stones, sculptures and souvenirs carved on such stones from the shops in the place called Stone Village.
The Marble Mountains actually consist of 5 different mountains, of which Thuy Son represents water, Moc Son represents wood, Hoa Son represents fire, Kim Son represents metal, and Tho Son represents earth. Speaking of My Khe beach, common activities to do here include fishing, swimming, sunbathing and surfing.
Khan Market is known as the largest shopping mall in the city. Here you can find a variety of products such as tropical fruits, meat, vegetables, seafood, spices, coffee, souvenirs and clothes. You can especially buy quality scarves and cashmere products. But you should definitely bargain while shopping. The market opens at 5 in the morning and closes at 7 in the evening.
